Sales Associate

Pay: $45,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Job description:

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product demonstrations, and ensuring a well-organized shopping environment. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.

Sell and deliver the minimum number of vehicles required per month.

Write complete sales orders and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.

Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems.

Attend product and sales training and courses as requested by sales manager.

Attend sales meetings.

Keep up to date on new products and services within the industry.

Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.

Maintain a prospect development system.

Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.

Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.

Fully explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.

Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.

Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.

Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.

Introduces customers to the service department and emphasize the importance of maintaining their vehicle.

Assist customers in scheduling their first service appointment.

Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.

Maintain professional appearance.

 

Requirements

Must have 5+ years of successful automotive sales experience.

Must possess strong communication skills.

Must be able to communicate well with sales management and other sales associates.

Must be able to communicate with other departments in the company such as the office, parts, and service.

Must be able to comprehend and communicate information, numbers, processes, procedures, vehicle information, and other items pertaining to your job.

Must be able to speak with customers.

Must be knowledgeable about our products and services.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Must possess a clean driving record.

Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

Must successfully pass a drug screening.
