I am originally from Indianapolis and attended Indiana University before moving to Florida's west coast where I spent much of my adult life. I returned to the midwest and joined the staff at Thompson's in the fall of 2001. I currently reside in Paris, Illinois where I attend Lakeridge Christian Church and participate as a board member of the Elohim Community of the Walk to Emmaus organization. I started at Thompson’s in February 1996. I enjoy working with people and their vehicles. It’s fun. I wouldn’t change that for anything. My bosses are the best and that helps a lot. Rick Huffman
Customer Relation Manager
I’ve been with Thompson’s since September 2003, starting out in sales and moving into the position of Customer Relations Manager in June of 2005. Previously I was with Roots/LS Ayres for many, many years. My primary duty involves working each day to strengthen the relationship of our business with our customers. With a product like Honda that can be pretty easy. I also work on several other projects here at the dealership. In my free time, I enjoy doing voice work for a local advertising agency, bicycling, music and reading. My extension is 112.

Bud Barnett
Service Manager
I have been employed at this dealership since June of 1979, it was my first job after high school. I earned a degree in Marketing and Economics from Indiana State University in 1985 and have been the Service Manager here since February 1986.
Like many of you, I was drawn to this dealership because of the quality products they sell. And like many of you, I have stayed with this dealership so long because of the people who work here.

Rich Schlatter
I have been in the automotive service business for over 7 years now, during which I have served as a Service Advisor and Service Manager. This is my second term of employment with this dealership. I was originally the Service Advisor for Toyota between 2003 and 2005. I have ASE certifications in Steering and Suspension and Brakes; I am also an ASE certified Service Consultant and have been certified as a wheel alignment technician by Hunter Engineering.
In my free time I enjoy working at my family farm, and playing the bass guitar. I look forward to taking care of all of your Honda service needs. My extension is 133.
